With today’s lifestyles it is hard to find anyone that is not just a little depressed sometimes. Does that mean that you have to run to the doctor and get antidepressants? The answer is no. Tryptophan is a amino acid that is found in goji berries that has been linked to helping people with their mood that are not depressed to the point that they need medicine, but do need something. In China some people refer to the goji berry as the "happy Berry”. This amino acid that the goji berry posses just might be why.
